Membership in Girl Scouts entitles girls to participate in Girl Scout program activities and other Girl Scout sponsored events, with adults serving in a leadership capacity.

Membership as a Girl Scout 

is given to any girl or adult who:
*Has made the Girl Scout Promise and accepted the Girl Scout Law
*Has paid annual membership dues
*Meets applicable membership standards regarding age

FIVE PROGRAM AGE LEVELS FOR GIRLS

Daisy Girl Scout - age 5-6 or grade K-1
Brownie Girl Scout - age 6-7 or grades 1-2-3
Junior Girl Scout - age 8-9-10-11 or grades 3-4-5-6
Girls 11-17 - age 11-17 or grades 6-12

The $10 membership fee is sent to Girl Scouts of the USA and is used for program development and resources. Girls may apply for financial assistance for membership dues from the
 Girl Financial Assistance Fund.
